Wow. I'd thought things would be a little easier to get used to in this place but it's really not much to do. But if I'm a police guy then at least this kind of calm and quietness is a nice thing to have... not so much violence and problems around.

But this simple life isn't all that bad. I have a place to go to and able to get food on my plate but... I don't know. I guess I'm starting to feel homesick. I wonder if Lady Shurelia and the others are doing okay?

... Oh well! Time for me to do one more patrol around the town. Maybe I can ask someone to help me out with the crop growing thing so I can grathmeld some more items.

Hey everyone, hasn't it been a little too quiet around here lately? Come on, we should liven it up more!

Which brings me to my next suggestion: Why don't we all play a game?

[ Today Nia can be found at the beach, in a swimsuit, doodling in the sand with a stick. The pictures are... Incomprehensible. ]

I have heard that it is good to 'tan' while on the beach, but is such a thing necessary? It feels like such a waste of this lovely sunlight to simply lay still...

[ Anyway, BEACH POST for activity. thread-hopping encouraged 8D;;; ]

[There is the guardian of the Goddess pond who never seems to move from his position. He still keeps his distance amongst the other inhabitants of the village and continues his life as if he is a hermit or an outcast of the town, but he does not care. New faces have arrived and new services have been offered, but for Assassin, the only thing he truly cared for was obeying his role in life at this village more dutifully. But on this day today, you'll see the samurai swinging his large thin blade so easily with one hand as if performing a sword dance while reading outloud from a book that he had his eyes more focused on than his blade work with his other hand.]

"In thy nature is beauty,
In thy nature is earth,
In thy nature I find my worth.

In thy nature is peace,
In thy nature I find myself,
In thy nature every lasting greens.

In thy nature there is more to be seen,
In thy nature a beauty untold,
In thy nature everything is worth more than gold."

Hm. Not exactly the best I've read in haiku but I am at least grateful that I was finally able to find a poetry book containing only them to keep my mind finally occupied with other things than my swordsmanship.

[See Tifa. See Tifa wandering about looking at the village. See her stop to examine things every now and then because, let's face it, this isn't Gaia and she's getting used to being in this place.]

What a cute village.

Ah, there we go! I've never done too much gardening work, but I think that looks good. Helping out at Kotomi-chan's house really was fun, so even if Sis and everyone aren't here, too, I think I can still enjoy this. I bet the flowers like being watered, too!

But aside from that, things seem like they're getting quiet again, don't they? Oh, not that that's a bad thing! But it'd be lonely if the Goddess forgot about us again, aha. Maybe... hm.

Is it alright for me to ask this? Well, if you'd like to talk about it- what sort of places is everyone from?

Well, well! Apparently you guys needed someone who can handle being part of the festival committee here, and the Goddess chose this old man for the job! Don't worry, I'm here to make sure everything goes smoothly. The faster we all go home, the better, right? If you've got any suggestions, feel free to direct them to me, Sonozaki Mion!

Also, anyone know where I can find a Yutaka Mikoto? He's supposed to be the only other person on the festival committee, but I haven't been able to find him anywhere.

[ In the library, Kotomi can be found with a book, as per usual. But unusually, she is setting it down. :O!!! ]

Now I've read... All of the books in the library.

I wish this was in my job description.

[hammering things together for the farm entrance XO]
[This is Cloud. This is Cloud obviously neglecting any farm duty to sit under a tree nearby and go through his inventory. He is holding (1) sparkly Tiara and there is a purple rolled-up lump of fabric nearby!!]

...I thought I got rid of this.
